It was great to connect with Giovanni Sanguineti for the podcast.  

We start off talking about an online workshop that past podcast guest Danny Ziemann has been doing online.  Giovanni is obsessed with learning and growing as a player, and we dig into a number of resources, including Dennis Whittaker’s new series Incredibly Useful Exercises for Double Bass.

718: Brendan Fitzgerald on audition prep

Brendan Fitzgerald has come up with an audition preparation strategy that has upped his level of consistency.  Brendan joined the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra in 2019 after spending two seasons with the Seattle Symphony, and he is set to do a trial with the Minnesota Orchestra.
